CRISIS CENTRE: Volunteering at the Crisis Centre is a great way to make a contribution to your community. Our vital programs could not exist without our team of more than 450 volunteers.
DISTRESS CENTRE: Our highly trained volunteers are dedicated to providing support to those in distress. In turn, we are dedicated to supporting the incredible work they do. We ensure they are prepared, comfortable and successful in their role.
KLINIC HEALTH: Volunteers in the Program provide phone crisis counselling on our 24-hour Crisis Line and Manitoba Suicide Prevention and Support Line. They support callers through dark times and help them feel connected when they are feeling alone.
NBCC: Volunteering can be a very rewarding experience. The work, although at times challenging, is very fulfilling. Many people from all walks of life, with many different life experiences and backgrounds, choose to volunteer.
YOUR LIFE COUNTS needs community participation to thrive so that youth and families can make it through the toughest times. We invite you to team up with us as we welcome all kinds of volunteer involvement with YLC.
YOUTHSPACE: Our compassionate volunteers are online every evening, 365 days a year, to provide confidential, empathetic and non-judgmental support to youth under 30 years of age through instant message (IM) and text message (SMS).
YOUTH LINE Meet new people and build your network of support. Explore new challenges and learn new skills. Improve the quality of life in the LGBTQ community. Be there for someone that needs support, information and resources.
KIDS HELP PHONE: Volunteers are a key part of our past, present and future. Collectively, our volunteers’ work helps ensure that young people across Canada can always access the support they need, in the way we need it most.
